I watch people with their mobile phones. An addiction for so many, it never leaves their hand. It's become an addendum to their body. So sad. Life is out there happening for real and they're staring at a screen.
So, I'm trying an experiment whilst my Sailfish is being reblown. I've gone back to just having a mobile phone. Just a mobile PHONE. Now I appreciate they come in all sizes.... in fact here's some photographic history of mine......
Whilst I'm quite enjoying the detox it does highlight just how much we rely on and use these devices.
For good or bad is not for me to say.
Update 20th Nov:- It is incredibly hard. The world isn't geared for such phones anymore. Perhaps we aren't either. Getting old but the screen size is restrictive. The lack of Skype and Whatsapp too really do make it just a phone and we've changed the way we communicate with one another. A phone call isn't it anymore.
