Not allowed a cat or dog under my rental contract (apart from some holiday visits to be looked after) so what other "Pet" can I have?

To keep me entertained & engage my brain I've decided to resurrect my sourdough skills. Or rebuild them. Be fun relearning. 

For those that don't know, lots of bakers have a tradition of naming their sourdoughs; their creation. Makes it personal. Mine was always known, to me at least, as The Bitch.

That's a weird/strange/nasty/upsetting name to call it Andy! Not really. A starter DEMANDS time. It DEMANDS effort. Like a spoilt (spoiled?) woman or child. Always nagging, demanding time & effort.

Plus it’s quite fun…..makes for some great conversation.

Plus it engages my brain or what is left of it, gives me some focus, something that isn't me, that isn't human. I can be rude to her too. Hurry up Bitch and so on. The biggest thing?

Ordered a couple of sets for presents, so some lucky people will either be over the moon or really upset at being tied to it. Could be you. lmfao.
