MAC OS 26 Tahoe

I can't say this strongly enough.

Wait!

"This is one of the biggest updates in years. A full OS version change.

Wait!"

With anything new, there are generally faults in it. Let someone else report them and let someone else fix them.

Wait until at least 26.3 for the initial faults to be eliminated.

I am going to split my drive into 2 and load both OS to test. Thia will take me some time to get right but I will report back here....

I do see bugs being reported.

Easier for us all to have some patience ESPECIALLY as it’s a NEW OS. Not an update.

You’ll have to learn new stuff, it has a different look and feel, so let’s wait until it’s really stable b4 we put that work in……

I split my hard-drive in two. Loaded one with Tahoe & left one with Sequoia.

Not a traditional update. I can use either hard drive. I left myself with the flexibility to go backwards should I so desire.

I will say that it is now v26.2 so a fair amount of work has been done since it's initial release.

Shows. Lots of bugs seem to be fixed.

I'm impressed. So far I'm enjoying the visual experience. Lots of the elements have transparancy. It makes the screen feel bigger.

I haven't played at all with the customisations possible. That maybe is for the weekend.
